Laws of Form is a book by G. Spencer-Brown (1969) where he derives Boolean logic from first principles (unlike George Bool who postuated the logic which now bears his name) and introduced imaginary truthvalues as the general resolution of logical paradox.

This talk shows that the Imaginary truthvalues form a conjugate basis to the Boolean truthvalues. It then generalizes this to Tri Conjugagte Logic (TCL) by adding another imaginary basis conjugate to both, showing that a quad paradox is generally paradoxical in two bases but indeterminate in one. Then it shows that TCL can be mapped to Bell states in the Diamond Paradox (a closed loop in spacetime) consisting of four spacelike correlations mediated by four EPR pairs. It then describes an experiment to test if such self-referentail forms self-collapse.

If validated, it is a candidate solution to the quantum measurement problem unsolved for 99 years. There is no change to Hilbert spaces, the quantum system still evolves unitarily, the QM machinery is untouched. But there is this global consistency constraint placed on top of it provided by self-reference that implies a preferred basis solely selected by the isolated quantum system - no environment (treated at the classical level) required. The quantum systerm (diamond paradox in this case) self-collapses - it’s quantum all the way down, as it must be.
