Significance

Some wit once quipped, “A good idea is a dangerous thing, when it is the only one you have.” We begin the quest with a formal list of objections. QTP must satisfactorily address each and every one. As the research progresses, it may become necessary to add more. This living list is our guiderails, it leads to success or rejection. The lure of success is the launch point, it sustains the intellectual effort required to make progress. We hope it is true. But that hope does not absolve us of the stringent requirement of scientific objectiveness. It is, or it is not. Either way, the journey beckons.
